Snowcaps & Macaws (Rancho Naturalista & Punta Leona)

This tour is designed to visit 2 very diverse areas of Costa Rica, both have a wealth of birds and wildlife.

1 nt: San Jose upon arrival or before departure at Hotel Bougainvillea depending on air schedule
3 nts: Rancho Naturalista on the Caribbean slope
3 nts: Punta Leona in the Pacific lowlands

Price per person double occupancy:

Low Season: $826 per person, double occupancy (May, June, August through November)
High Season: $946 per person, double occupancy (July, December through April)

Single Supplement: $194 in the Low Season and $226 in the High Season

Note: The single supplement for the Rancho Naturalista portion of this tour is not reflected in the above prices. This single supplement, ($30 per night from Apr 16 to Dec OR $50 per night from Jan to Apr 15), is waived when singles stay in certain designated rooms, some with private bathrooms, others with shared bathrooms.

Private transportation between lodges: Add $524 divided by number of participants
(Airport pick-up -> Rancho Naturalista -> Punta Leona -> Airport drop-off)

Price Includes:

  • All of the inclusive extras mentioned in the description of Rancho Naturalista and Punta Leona including meals, etc.

Optional extras:

  • Private transport (Airport to Rancho -> Punta Leona -> Airport); total is divided by number of guests
  • All of the optional extras mentioned in the description of Rancho Naturalista and Punta Leona including a Bird Guide at either location
  • Extra overnight stay in the Airport/San Jose area before or after tour if necessary
