This tour is a perfect compliment to the Northern Costa Rica Tour and it is great for groups of birding friends or bird club traveling together. It concentrates on the specialty birds at some of the most iconic sites for birding in Costa Rica. Starting in Carara, this tour goes down the Pacific coast to the SW before coming up the spine of Costa Rica, the Talamanca Highlands. Over on the Caribbean side it takes in the mid-elevations of Tapanti NP before finishing up at famed Rancho Naturalista. A quality bird guide and transport are included throughout the tour.
